LIMITED SERVICE WARRANTY

EGO products are warranted against defects in material or workmanship from the date of original retail purchase for the applicable warranty period. Defective product will receive free repair.

  1. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser from an authorized EGO retailer and may not be transferred. Authorized EGO retailers are identified online at https://egopowerplus.com/store-locator.
  2. The warranty period for reconditioned or factory certified products used for residential purpose is 1 year, for industrial, professional or commercial purpose is 90 days.
  3. The warranty period for routine maintenance parts, such as, but not limited to, ride-on mower seat, wheels, tires, anti-scalp wheels, brake disc, friction block, blades, trimmer heads, chain bars, saw chains, belts, scraper bars, rubber paddles, augers, skid shoes, blower nozzles, and all other EGO accessories is 90 days for residential purpose, 30 days for industrial, professional or commercial purpose. These parts are covered for 90/30 days from manufacture defects in normal working conditions.
  4. This warranty is void if the product has been used for rental purpose.
  5. This warranty does not cover the damage resulting from modification, alteration or unauthorized repair.
  6. This warranty only covers defects arising under normal usage and does not cover any malfunction, failure or defect resulting from misuse, abuse (including overloading of the product beyond capacity and immersion in water or other liquid), accidents, neglect or lack of proper installation, and improper maintenance or storage.
  7. This warranty does not cover normal deterioration of the exterior finish, including but not limited to scratches, dents, paint chips, or to any corrosion or discoloring by heat, abrasive and chemical cleaners.

HOW TO OBTAIN SERVICE

For warranty service, please contact EGO customer service toll-free at 1-855-346-5656. When requesting warranty service, you must present the original dated sales receipt. An authorized service center will be selected to repair the product according to the stated warranty terms. When bringing your product to the authorized service center, there may be a small deposit that will be required when dropping off your tool. This deposit is refundable when the repair service is deemed to be covered under warranty.

ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS

To the extent permitted by applicable law, all implied warranties, including warranties of MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, are disclaimed. Any implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, that cannot be disclaimed under state law are limited to the applicable warranty period defined at the beginning of this article. Chervon North America is not responsible for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages. This warranty covers the structural components and all the other components of the products from the date of product delivery to the end customer. Within this period, the customer must notify the dealer or approved distributor and make the product available for repairs. The dealer/distributor will complete the warranty claim and send it to our warranty department within 30 days of the replacement or repair date of the product to receive a credit.

Any defective part must be retained for subsequent inspection. Failure to return these parts upon Portable Winch Co. request will automatically cancel the warranty claim. Any parts replaced or repaired will be guaranteed for the remaining warranty period of the product on which they were installed or repaired or according to the warranty period of these actual parts, where applicable. The product’s warranty period cannot be extended due to a non-use period caused by a repair, demonstration, inspection or lease return.

Portable Winch Co.’s sole obligation under this warranty is limited, at its discretion, to the repair or replacement without charge at Portable Winch Co.’s factory or distributor warehouse, all shipping costs paid by the user. Unless otherwise expressly stipulated in writing, this warranty does not constitute a warranty on performance or productivity.

Portable Winch Co. reserves the right to make changes or improvements to its products and this, without obligation towards its customers. In case of a modification or improvement, when a repair or replacement claim is made, Portable Winch Co. will not be required to make these modifications or improvements, but may do so at its discretion, at the customer’s cost, on the product or parts already sold.

Exclusions

This warranty, as a whole, does not cover maintenance and wear parts or consumable products for Portable Winch Co. models including, but not limited to, greases and lubricating oils, filters, parts suffering from friction when in contact with the rope or any other part showing evidence of negligence, overload, abuse, accident, maintenance, unsuitable storage or use or an unauthorized alteration. No warranty claim shall apply in the following cases:

  • a) Product damaged during transit or storage;
  • b) Shipping costs for the product or part sent for inspection and/or repair;
  • c) Costs incurred for repairs performed at an overtime rate;
  • d) Problem investigation and diagnosis;
  • e) Costs for the use of an identical product when the original product is being repaired under warranty;
  • f) Costs incurred by communication and transportation when the product is being repaired under warranty;
  • g) Product on which the identification number or serial number is not visible.

All parts or components not manufactured by Portable Winch Co. are covered by their respective manufacturers and not by Portable Winch Co. However, Portable Winch Co. will process claims for these parts with the exception of Honda and Baldor (ABB) engines/motors.

Honda engines/motors, subject to commercial or domestic use or lease, are covered for a period that varies from one country to another. Warranty repair claims for these engines/motors can be made to any Honda small engines service centre. The portable winch’s serial number must be written on the customer’s original invoice and will be used by the service centre for Honda small engines to determine the warranty’s validity period.

Baldor (ABB) motors, subject to commercial or domestic use or lease, are covered for a period that varies from one country to another. Warranty repair claims for these motors can be made to any Baldor service centre (or ABB Motors and Mechanical). The portable winch’s serial number must be written on the customer’s original invoice and will be used by the Baldor service centre (or ABB) to determine the warranty’s validity period.

This warranty will be canceled if a repair or alteration is made to a Portable Winch Co. product by a person or company who has not received prior approval from Portable Winch Co. and which, in the opinion of Portable Winch Co, affected the product’s performance and/or reliability in any way.

Any modification made to a Portable Winch Co. product without prior approval from Portable Winch Co. and/or repair carried out with parts not having been approved by Portable Winch Co. beforehand will automatically cancel this warranty. This warranty is not valid for any problem resulting from an unsuitable use or installation of parts or components or from a lack of normal and proper maintenance.

THIS WARRANTY CONSTITUTES AND REPLACES ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLICIT, WRITTEN OR ORAL, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLICIT WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR SUITABILITY FOR A SPECIFIC USE.

THIS WARRANTY WILL BE APPLIED AND INTERPRETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS AND COMMERCIAL PRACTICES IN FORCE IN THE PROVINCE OF QUEBEC, CANADA.

Portable Winch Co. cannot be held responsible for any damage, whether accidental or resulting from operator negligence, and it is understood that this warranty is the only right and remedy for the customer or the user.

What is covered:  Oregon warrants that the Covered Products will be free from defects in material or workmanship for the period of time and subject to the terms set forth in this Limited Warranty.  The remedy under this Limited Warranty is limited to Oregon or an authorized service center’s repair or replacement of the Covered Product, at Oregon’s sole discretion.

 

Who is covered:  The original purchaser of a Covered Product (“Original Purchaser”) who presents satisfactory proof of purchase from Oregon or an authorized Oregon dealer or service center in the United States, U.S. territories, or Canada.  This Limited Warranty is not transferable to any subsequent owner of a Covered Product. 

 

Coverage Period:  Oregon warrants the Covered Products to the Original Purchaser for the following time period, as applicable, commencing on the date of the proof of purchase:

Warranty Exclusions, Limitations, and Rights:

  1. The Limited Warranty does not cover any of the following circumstances, as determined by Oregon in its sole and exclusive discretion:
    1. Normal wear and tear of the Covered Product, including, but not limited to, damage to blades, gears, housings, handles, shafts, tubes, nozzles, cutting attachments, cables, straps, switches, buttons, and buckles.
    2. Failure, breakage, excessive wear, and other defects of the Covered Product which arise due to (i) failure to set up, operate, or perform maintenance in accordance with Oregon’s instruction manual or industry standard; (ii) use of parts, components, batteries, or chargers not supplied by Oregon or without written authorization by Oregon; (iii) parts or components that have been modified or removed; (iv) use in an application for which the tool was not designed for; or (v) abuse, misuse, neglect, modifications, alterations, improper storage or charging of batteries, lack of lubrication or use of lubricant types other than those approved by Oregon in its instruction manual.
  2. Any Covered Product or part, component, or accessory repaired or replaced under this Limited Warranty remains subject to the above Limited Warranty Period running from the date of the proof of purchase of the Covered Product.
  3. Oregon or any authorized service center may retain or discard any Covered Product or part, component, or accessory replaced under this Limited Warranty.
  4. OREGON AND ITS AUTHORIZED SERVICE CENTERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXPENSES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, LOSS OF PROFIT OR THE COST OF EQUIPMENT RENTALS OR HIRED LABOR. THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES OTHER THAN THOSE SET FORTH HEREIN.  OREGON DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, WHETHER OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR OTHERWISE.  IN THE EVENT SUCH DISCLAIMERS ARE NOT PERMITTED BY LOCAL LAW, THEN SUCH WARRANTY(IES) SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD DESCRIBED IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.  SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, OR THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.  THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR STATE OR LOCALITY.
  5. Oregon reserves the right to amend this Limited Warranty at any time.    

 

Warranty Claim Procedure:  To initiate a warranty claim, the Original Purchaser should call Oregon’s customer service department (1-800-223-5168, ext. 1) or an authorized service center listed at www.oregonproducts.com, and provide the Covered Product model and serial number, description of the perceived failure or defect, proof of purchase, and contact information.  The Original Purchaser shall then arrange for the delivery or shipment of the Covered Product with evidence of proof of purchase to Oregon or the authorized service center, as directed, at the Original Purchaser’s sole expense.  Covered Products will be inspected and evaluated in the order received.  Oregon or the authorized service center will (1) determine, in its sole discretion, if the Covered Product is eligible for repair or replacement under this Limited Warranty; (2) if eligible, perform the necessary repair on the Covered Product or issue a replacement, as applicable; and (3) return the Covered Product to the Original Purchaser upon its payment of return shipping and handling fees.  In the event it is determined that any Covered Product is not eligible for repair or replacement under this Limited Warranty, the Original Purchaser may request that Oregon or an authorized service center repair or replace the Covered Product at the Original Purchaser’s sole cost and expense.

 

Maruyama Commercial 18V

Limited Warranty Policy

 

Maruyama US Inc offers a five year warranty for all Maruyama engine powered products and pumps which covers all user classifications, without any further obligation, excluding Rental and Big M units. This warranty will protect commercial, industrial and residential users against manufacturing, material and workmanship defect for five years from the date of purchase.

 

Rental use is covered under a 90 day warranty.

 

Maruyama Battery Operated Backpack Sprayers carry a 2 year commercial/residential warranty. Warranty does not include the battery.

 

**All rubber/plastic parts (tanks, hoses, filters, etc.) are not covered by the Iron 5 Year Commercial Warranty.**

 

COMMERCIAL WARRANTY

 

Maruyama U.S., Inc. (“Maruyama”) warrants that the Maruyama commercial/ industrial products sold by it will be free from defects in material and manufacture for the following time periods, which run from the date of purchase by the original purchaser of the product:

 

·        Components that have a scheduled replacement period under the maintenance instructions for the product:

Up to first scheduled replacement, or the period below, whichever is shorter

·        All other components:

90 days if the product is rented to another user at any time during the warranty period

 

The preceding warranties extend to the original purchaser only. Warranty coverage applies only to Maruyama products that are purchased and repaired by Authorized Maruyama Dealers in the United States, U.S Territories and Canada.

 

 

Conditions of Warranty Coverage. This warranty will apply only if:

  1. It is the Owner's and Dealer's responsibility to make sure the Warranty Registration Card is properly filled out and mailed to Maruyama U.S., Inc. Proof of purchase and registration will be required in order to obtain warranty
  2. Should a failure occur that is covered by this warranty, the Owner must deliver or ship the unit to an Authorized Maruyama Dealer for repair and provide proof of purchase Maruyama is not responsible for any freight or transportation costs.

 

Exclusions. This warranty does not cover:

  1. Repair or replacement of maintenance items (except for those arising from defects in materials and manufacture), including hoses, spark plugs, starter rope, air and fuel filters, clutch shoes, vibration isolators, throttle cables, lubricants and coolants, and all cutting attachments,
  2. Products that have been altered or modified or aftermarket parts not authorized by Maruyama U.S.,
  3. Ordinary wear; damage caused by accident, abuse, impact, neglect, misuse, negligence, vandalism, improper storage or handling, or disasters such as flood, fire, or war; damage caused by improper fuels, lubricants or fuel mixtures (when applicable) or failure to operate or maintain the product in accordance with the instructions supplied by Maruyama. The purchaser is responsible for the performance of the required maintenance, as defined by Maruyama Mfg. Co., Inc. in the Owner's/Operator's
  4. Maruyama reserves the rights to change or improve the design of the product without notice and does not assume obligation to update previously manufactured

 

Exclusion of Other Warranties: The preceding warranties are the exclusive warranties given by Maruyama and supersede any prior, contrary or additional representations, whether oral or written. MARUYAMA HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES—WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY—INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, ANY WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OTHERWISE ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

 

Exclusive Remedy. If a Maruyama product fails to conform to the preceding warranties, the owner must notify Maruyama within a reasonable time and in no event more than thirty (30) days after the discovery of the nonconformity by delivering the product to an Authorized Maruyama Servicing Dealer. Maruyama will investigate and, in the event of a breach of warranty, will provide, at its option and within a reasonable period of time repair or replacement of any nonconforming products or components. This remedy covers damage to other components caused by the failure of a part still under warranty. Repaired or replacement products will conform to the warranty for (1) the unexpired duration of the warranty period for the original, nonconforming product. Maruyama may use used or repaired material for all warranty claims. The purchaser shall not be charged for diagnostic labor that leads to the determination that a warranted part is defective, if the diagnostic work is performed at a Maruyama Dealer. The purchaser is responsible, however, for cost of transportation of the product to and from the Dealer. THE REMEDY SELECTED BY MARUYAMA IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PARAGRAPH SHALL BE THE EXCLUSIVE AND SOLE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY.

Exclusion of Other Incidental and Consequential Damages: MARUYAMA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY, WHETHER RESULTING FROM NONDELIVERY OR FROM THE USE, MISUSE, OR INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT OR FROM MARUYAMA’S OWN NEGLIGENCE OR

OTHER TORT. This excludes liability for extra expenses including shipping and handling, travel, payment for lost time or pay and for any inconvenience and storage.

 

Severability. If any provision of this warranty is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder shall have full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be partially enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law to effectuate the purpose of the agreement.

 

Applicable Law. This Warranty will be interpreted, construed, and enforced in all respects in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without reference to its choice of law principles. The U.N. Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods will not apply to this Warranty.

Statement of Limited Warranty

 

MÁQUINAS AGRÍCOLAS JACTO S.A. shall warrant the equipment described in this manual and shall repair or replace parts and components which, under normal operation and wear, in accor- dance with technical recommendations, show DEFECTS IN MA- TERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP, based on the following conditions.

 

1.  Warranty period

03 (three) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

 

2.  Warranty application

JACTO shall honor this warranty, free of charge, if any part or component shows defect in MATERIAL OR WORKMANSHIP, after final analysis at the factory.

 

3.   This warranty shall be null & void in case of:

  • Misuse of the equipment against specifications in this man- ual, overwork or
  • Use the equipment to spray products not intended for plants protection or not approved by regulatory authorities

 

to be used with backpack sprayers.

  • Preventive/basic maintenance performed by unauthorized
  • Use of parts and components not supplied by
  • Modification of the equipment or any characteristic of the original

 

4.  This warranty shall exclude

  • Parts which show wear and tear due to use: spray nozzle, fil- ters, seals, rechargeable battery, hydraulic pump, electronic panel, charger and its cables, agitator lever, belt, UNLESS THEY SHOW DEFECTS IN WORKMANSHIP, ASSEMBLY OR MATERIAL.
  • Damages resulting from
  • Transportation or freight of the equipment, parts and com- ponents in case such warranty is not

5.  General terms

  • Parts replaced within the warranty period shall be property of
